Share your story

Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story.
- Psalm 107:2

What God has done in your life is worth telling

Everyone has a story. Some stories are marked by a dramatic moment when everything changed. Others are quieter. Maybe your story is about finding hope in a difficult season, learning to trust God, coming back to faith, finding community, experiencing healing, or simply realizing that God has been with you all along.

Your story may not look like someone else’s, but that doesn’t make it any less important. You just have to tell the truth about where you’ve seen God at work. It doesn’t have to be a perfect story. It might be two minutes long, or it may take a lifetime to understand.

It could include questions you still have, or things you wish had happened differently. It might not have the ending you expected, and that’s okay. Sharing your story isn’t about making yourself look good. It’s about pointing to what God has done.

So, tell the story honestly. Share the parts that matter and remember that God can use your story to remind someone else that they are not alone.

Your story matters. And someone may need to hear it.

Hear the stories of others

One of the beautiful things about faith is discovering that God meets people in all kinds of different places and seasons.

Listen to some of the stories from people in our church. Their stories may look different from yours, but we hope they remind you of one thing: God is still at work.

Start with your Story

If you’re not sure where to begin, let’s start with a few questions:

Where have I seen God at work in my life? Think about moments, seasons, relationships, decisions, challenges, or unexpected circumstances where you can look back and recognize God’s presence.

What has God brought me through? Maybe there’s a difficult season, loss, failure, disappointment, or struggle that has shaped your faith.

What has God changed in me? Your circumstances may not have changed, but maybe you have. Has God changed the way you see yourself, others, your circumstances, or Him?

When have I experienced God’s presence? Think about a moment when you felt peace, received unexpected encouragement, found strength you didn’t have on your own, or simply knew you weren’t alone.

What has God taught me? Maybe your story is about learning to trust, forgive, wait, surrender, serve, pray, or believe again.

What would my life look like if I hadn’t encountered God? Sometimes looking at the difference between where we were and where we are now helps us recognize what God has done.

What is God doing in my life right now? Your story doesn’t have to be finished to be shared. Sometimes the most honest testimony is, “I’m still in it, but I know God is with me.”
