I feel that I am on the path to a breakdown. Work, home, and just everything going on has me extremely stressed, anxious, and depressed. Tonight, I am writing this and I can’t stop crying. I’m always trying to do my best at lifting others up and being positive, but something in me snapped today. I can’t find my peace. I can’t do it anymore.

My husband Peter had a heart catheter on Monday, May 12. It showed that the heart stent that was placed in Nov 2024 has failed and he has a 90% blockage in the circumflex artery. Additionally he has a 70% blockage between two stents that were placed in 2009. Neither of these two places could be re-stented. He is scheduled for a double bypass heart surgery this Friday, May 16.

UPDATE AS OF 5/16/25: I received a whatsapp message from Batı Baran’s mother, she’s too crushed to speak at this time. Unfortunately Batı Baran didn’t make it.
We will never forget your labor of love in prayer for him and how you contended with us in prayer during this difficult time.
Sometimes in spiritual warfare we lose a battle but this will only make us more zealous to win against the devil’s desire to steal.
The love and care you sowed into us will remain forever. There are no words to adequately thank you enough.
Beloved fellow servants of Jesus,
May I share a recent prayer need for Batı, a young man with stage 4 cancer. UPDATE: Batı Baran has been placed in intensive care.
The doctors tell his mother he will not come out of intensive care that it is time to say goodbye. It seems that what is causing the worst problems are the tumors in his lungs. Please pray for him and his family.
However, he still has other tumors and the tumors in his lungs are particularly dangerous and painful. He is still in unbearable pain which is even more painful for his mother to watch, but her faith is still strong and she begs for continued prayer.
When Jesus made the tumor in his rib disappear this could not have been in vain.
Batı will not die but live and proclaim the praises of the Lord. The Lord’s steadfast love will not depart from that family. We have authority to step on painful scorpions, in Jesus name.
Please continue to pray.
