The Magnify generosity initiative will be from December 2023-2025. Unlike traditional building campaigns in which people give both to a ‘General Fund’ and a ‘Building Fund’, Magnify is a one-fund initiative.
We believe that it is all ONE MISSION that we’re on – the mission to change the world by making disciples who make disciples. So we have decided that our gifts to Crossroads go into one fund, even in these seasons of ministry expansion – to celebrate the totality of our generosity growth as disciples of Jesus.

• First and foremost, we are asking you to pray and seek God’s leading on what He is asking of you. Prepare your heart to hear Him, and then listen to what He says.
• Engage in a Table Group (Life Group) during this season, if you are not already.
• Spend time in personal reflection with God in the Setting the Table Guide.
• Have great conversations with your spouse, your family or others who are on this same journey as you.
• Pray over what God would have you experience in this season.
• We are asking that you make a sacrificial commitment to gospel-centered generosity— whatever it is that God leads you to do. Follow His leading.
• Finally, we ask that you prepare to be amazed. It is an awesome God we serve. He is moving in huge ways, and we anticipate an unprecedented impact from our collective Magnify commitments—something only God can do.

If you’re new to the Magnify journey, we are asking you to make a commitment from December 2024 – December 2025. If you’re already on the Magnify journey, your commitment started in December of 2023 and will end in December 2025.

Magnify is a one-fund initiative meaning all of our giving is united, just like our mission for Jesus. However, we have region-specific projects that will be designated as priorities for each location. The Board will determine exactly when and where funding will be allocated to accomplish Magnify’s goals, though we all get the benefit of joined giving with the ability to fund projects at each location that might not otherwise be possible. We call this the family win.

If you are someone currently seeking to make payments to pay off debt right now, we commend you for making progress on that. And you should continue to do so. We would be happy to help you in this journey and/or to get you signed up in our FreedUp class. Magnify was crafted specifically with you in mind. Magnify is a “one fund” generosity initiative, meaning that it is different from a traditional capital campaign where you are called to give an extra gift above and beyond your normal giving. Magnify is a simple call to sacrificial, gospel-centered generosity for absolutely everyone. If you have never given before, this is your chance to get in the game with a committed sacrifice.

Welcome! Magnify is about the vision for our church and our personal discipleship in giving as followers of Jesus. Yes, that is still our goal! We need to reach the next generation for Christ; and feasibility studies show there is a large need in North Fayette and Upper St. Clair for high quality child care centers. We are taking a phased approach to the build out of these, starting with expanding our current preschool programming.

The cash surpluses from these academies will help pay our building costs and debt, allowing general offerings to go to other ministry opportunities.
